Why Isn't a Gift Card Adding to Apple Wallet?
If you are unable to add a gift card to Apple Wallet, it is probably because the card does not work with Apple Pay. Presently, Apple's website does not list retailer gift cards as a supported card type. Check with the card issuer to see if a gift card that bears the Visa, Mastercard, or American Express logo can be added before using it.
