How do we develop meaningful work for many people who are (or will be) un-, under-, temporarily, or miserably employed by technology?
I have read that we will continue to lose jobs as the impact of technology broadens. Yet meaningful work is the way many of us define our lives.

To develop meaningful work for individuals facing unemployment or underemployment due to technology, we can focus on several strategies:
Reskilling and Upskilling: Provide training programs that equip people with new skills relevant to emerging industries, ensuring they can transition into better job opportunities.
Emphasizing Human-Centric Roles: Promote jobs that require creativity, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking, which technology cannot easily replicate.
Encouraging Entrepreneurship: Support initiatives that foster entrepreneurship, allowing individuals to create their own opportunities and businesses.
Implementing Universal Basic Income (UBI): Consider UBI as a safety net to support those affected by job displacement, giving them the freedom to pursue meaningful work.
Community Engagement: Foster local projects that engage individuals in community service, social enterprises, or cooperative models, providing purpose and connection.
By prioritizing these approaches, we can create pathways to meaningful employment in a rapidly changing job landscape.

Unconditional basic income is one of the ideas about that.
