Love this course! When will section on insurance and moral hazard be complete?
Expand discussion of why health care is burdened with market failures (adverse selection, information asymmetry, moral hazard) and whether introducing high deductible insurance plans will encourage price transparency, thus bringing health costs back to earth.

Improving long term learning and comprehension of material
The videos and questions are engaging, but without frequent and spaced reinforcement of the concepts and terminology, the ideas will not embed in learners long term memory. students take a multiple choice question and pass but do they really understand the concepts. This is the biggest failure of MOOCs. I recommend including on the website some space repetitive questioning of the material to help push the ideas from short term memory to long term memory. There is a lot to earn from language learning and flashcard websites and apps like Anki, Duolingo and Memrise. You can even develop on Memrise…

I agree that there is much to be done to provide practice materials to reinforce concepts. That’s definitely on our radar to improve.

Using MRU with flipped classroom; date for Macro?
Your videos are great and I use them in my classroom and post them on my course website as a kind of hybrid flipped classroom.

Better spam control and author authentication needed
Comments and discussions under the videos could be very useful only if they are kept free from spam. Spammers often post links and ads. One way could be to designate some long time or serious users as moderators.
PS: In case you start such a program, I would love to help with moderation of content

Is it possible to download the presentations used in the videos?
Being the kind of learner who needs to read and highlight and make notes on lecture slides I would like to find out how possible it would be to get the slides so I can follow along on a printout and make notes as I watch the lecture videos

I finished the course of international trade successfully by answering all the questions but thesere was no certificate issued to me?
why was my certificate not issued to me?

Certificates
I see that the certificate is not printable. Can any body who achieved a course and printed a certificate tell me how?
23 votesIf you have earned a certificate, you should be able to print it as follows:
1) Login to mruniversity.com
2) You should see your profile page – if not, click “my profile” on the top navigation bar
3) On the right you should see certificates you’ve earned – under them you should see “print certificate”.
4) That will bring up a page formatted for printing. On many print screens you’ll see something like “print backgrounds” and “print header and footers” options. Click print background “on”. Leave headers and footers “off”. -
Misleading wording in one quiz question
Hi, I just took the quiz following the video "A price is a signal wrapped up in an incentive." The last phrase in the answer to question 6 describes the equilibrium price as "desired by no one." What is meant here is "the equilibrium price is not the desire of any one person," but the way it's written can just as easily be interpreted as "the equilibrium price is quite disliked by everyone." It's ambiguous that way. One way to clear up the ambiguity is just to change it to "…desired by no one person." Indeed, that wording appears in…

I am really impressed with the lectures. Like Kahn Academy they are the best I have found in explaining complex ideas clearly and simply.
