  3. International Finance Certificate??

    I hear there are no exams yet for International Finance and one will not get any certificates unless you pass the exam. So what must I do to get a certificate for this course?

    We have a way to do this already! If you go to mruniversity.com and look at any video page, you should see a “translate” button under the video.

    Clicking on it will take you to a tool that allows you to add subtitles. We greatly appreciate any additions we get!

  6. Can you learn about effectiveness of price stabalization measure by the government to stabalize prices of agri commodities?

    Can you learn about effectiveness of price stabalization measure by the government to stabalize prices of agri commodities? In india onion prices have huge implication for rural economy and politics. Indian government is setting up price stabalization mechanism . They will buy onion when prices fall and release the stock when prices shoot up. What does the economic theory and international experience say about such measures?   8. MRUniversity should create an app.

    MRUniversity should create an app similar to Udemy so people can easily do economics on their phones and tablets. I would strongly prefer if there was an MRUnisveristy app that just linked the videos so I can watch it on my phone without the need of an internet browser.

    Without a doubt THE best way to learn about economics! All of the videos are very interesting, easy to understand and very slick with high production values.

    Most importantly, it gives the student of economics a very solid intuitive grasp of the subject.

  11. MAKE Exam AVAILABLE FOR A COURSE FROM 2014!!!!

    It would be VERY nice and professional of y'all to have the exam and/or certificate of completion actually available AFTER SITTING THROUGH 55 VIDEOS!!! This course was created in 2014! It is almost 2016!

    Thanks for the comment – getting the International Finance exam up is on our list. We’re a bit behind I know. We are a very small team.

    I’m always curious to learn more about what folks are doing with our materials – would you mind sharing with me what you do with our certificate?

  12. Compress Apple Podcast Videos

    Hi Guys,

    You´re doing such a great Job, congratulations! I watched all videos from Microeconomics course and Daily Economics.

    I had a hard time downloading the videos from Apples Podcast and play them on my iPad, because they are really big. A 3 minute video can be 700 MB size, which is huge, consuming lot of storage on the device, and making it imposible to streaming if you don't have a really fast internet connection.

    It would be great if you can compress them.

  14. Release New Material on a Schedule

    You asked for feedback about the Principles of Economics: Microeconomics class.

    I know it's too late in the class for this to change, but in future classes it would be nice if there was some predetermined schedule for the release of new material. Long periods of time went by in the class with no new material and no idea when it would be released.

    A release schedule when the class starts would be very helpful.

    We don’t have a course specifically designed for that age but I think you could find useful content in both Everyday Economics and Principles. I have a 7 year old and he enjoys them!

  18. Love this course! When will section on insurance and moral hazard be complete?

    Expand discussion of why health care is burdened with market failures (adverse selection, information asymmetry, moral hazard) and whether introducing high deductible insurance plans will encourage price transparency, thus bringing health costs back to earth.

    Good question, where does economics fit in? And what is science?

    How can I participate in so called scientific debate without knowing what science is, in the first place?

    I have a feeling that in economics in general you have much story telling and anecdotes, as compared to the amount of 'science' - whatever that word really means.
