Improving long term learning and comprehension of material
The videos and questions are engaging, but without frequent and spaced reinforcement of the concepts and terminology, the ideas will not embed in learners long term memory. students take a multiple choice question and pass but do they really understand the concepts. This is the biggest failure of MOOCs. I recommend including on the website some space repetitive questioning of the material to help push the ideas from short term memory to long term memory. There is a lot to earn from language learning and flashcard websites and apps like Anki, Duolingo and Memrise. You can even develop on Memrise and Anki complimentary learning communities for free that will drive traffic to Mruniversity.

Thank you Bryon! No surprise that such a smart comment comes from a fellow Hokie!
I agree that there is much to be done to provide practice materials to reinforce concepts. That’s definitely on our radar to improve.
I’ll check out those apps you mentioned. I appreciate the feedback – feel free to email me directly at roman at mruniversity dot com.
