  1. Using MRU with flipped classroom; date for Macro?

Your videos are great and I use them in my classroom and post them on my course website as a kind of hybrid flipped classroom.

When will you have videos up for principles of macro? Thanks!

How important is this to you?

Thanks for sharing! We’ll be in contact with you as we’re very interested in how our videos are working in a flipped model. You can send feedback directly to me at roman at mruniversity dot com as well.

As for Macro, it’s on deck for this year. I’ll add you to the professor list for course announcements so that you get notified.

  2. Release New Material on a Schedule

You asked for feedback about the Principles of Economics: Microeconomics class.

I know it's too late in the class for this to change, but in future classes it would be nice if there was some predetermined schedule for the release of new material. Long periods of time went by in the class with no new material and no idea when it would be released.

A release schedule when the class starts would be very helpful.

Thanks for the great material. So many of these topics and the way they apply to real-life situations are more complex than they appear on…

  5. Is it possible to download the presentations used in the videos?

Being the kind of learner who needs to read and highlight and make notes on lecture slides I would like to find out how possible it would be to get the slides so I can follow along on a printout and make notes as I watch the lecture videos

  6. List of high production value videos?

I would love if you could compile and post a list of the high production value videos (i.e. not the voice over power point style ones). Thanks!

Can you learn about effectiveness of price stabalization measure by the government to stabalize prices of agri commodities? In india onion prices have huge implication for rural economy and politics. Indian government is setting up price stabalization mechanism . They will buy onion when prices fall and release the stock when prices shoot up. What does the economic theory and international experience say about such measures? I am based in India . milind.murugkar@gmail.com Can MRU help us in understanding the issue better ? Milind Murugkar

  13. Adding a built-in Subtitles in English directly within the video, so if we download the video we can read the subtitles directly.

Adding a MBA Courses to the bunch of the MR University will be more than GREAT IDEA. Hence, folks can collect everything under one roof.

  14. for the webmaster:

Are you aware that cell phones store files in alphabetical order? I believe Alex intended the files be in order given. That order is lots. Please please please put numbers on the left of the file name.

  16. Naming of Units

There's two names associated with downloaded files. It is the "Description Title" rather than the File Name that cell phones use to order their listings.
    PLEASE
put numbers on the "Description Title" (not the file name) so that we can hear them in the order Alex intended.

  17. A list of objectives, you know with the whole Bloom's taxonomy verb plus concept

Just like a real course from an accredited college/university would provide (possibly), I would like to have a list of objectives. The questions at the end are a nice way to test myself, but I like to create my own tests to check on my learning process - can I compare/contrast, explain, list, blah, blah, blah. Thanks!

  20. Course on Affordable Care Act / ObamaCare. Not political, but like the failure of the Euro course, why ObamaCare has failed.

Supply and demand curve examining ObamaCare and why it has failed to lower premiums by $2,500 as Obama promised. The inelasticity of supply, how threats to end ObamaCare by the opposite party/President has kept the expansion of supply down after the 50 million uninsured because insured. How demand went up from ObamaCare but supply curve did not move much resulting in less quality of care, and higher prices for health care premiums for those working people who do not quality for ObamaCare. Again, no politics but like the Eurozone course you did that explains what economists thought would happen with…
