The default password of a TP-Link Router is “admin”, without quotes. You can locate the default TP Link password, the username, and the router’s default IP address in the user manual that comes along with the router. Alternatively, you can locate this information at the back or bottom of the router. Using it requires you to first connect the router to a computer using an Ethernet cable or with a wireless connection. After the devices establish a connection, you need to open a web browser on your computer and browse the default IP address to enter the router login credentials in the fields provided. Lastly, click on the “Login” option to get access to the router admin console.
