Comments on New Updates to the MRU Website and Ideas for Upcoming Features
Hello Everyone,
First of all, let me say how much I appreciate the MRU website's ongoing changes and enhancements. Finding pertinent content has become considerably simpler as a result of the latest modifications, particularly those related to navigation and resource classification. Having said that, I wanted to offer some input on a few areas that may benefit from additional improvement as well as some recommendations for new features for upcoming releases.
Search Functionality: Although the search function works well in general, I've found it might be more accurate when looking for particular words or specialised subjects. Occasionally, it seems like there are too many results, which might make it take longer to sort through irrelevant stuff. Is it possible to enhance the search results with a filter system or an advanced search option?
User Profiles and Interaction: Increasing user profile interactivity would be fantastic. The user experience would be much improved by having options to follow specific individuals, save or store favourite threads, and get alerts when topics you're interested in are updated.
Mobile Optimisation: While the website functions flawlessly on desktops, I've found using it on mobile devices to be a little difficult. In particular, whether navigating forums or accessing information on smaller displays, the layout might be more responsive. Are there any future plans to enhance the usefulness of mobile devices?
And last, will the dark mode functionality be implemented? For those of us who visit the website often, this would be a really nice feature.
