How Simple Games Teach Us Big Lessons
I've been thinking a lot about how even the simplest games can teach valuable lessons—whether it’s about focus, reaction time, decision-making, or even economics (supply and demand in racing sims, anyone?).
For example, Escape Road is a straightforward game: you're just trying to stay on a narrow, winding road as it twists endlessly. But after a while, you realize it's training your brain to respond faster, anticipate turns, and stay calm under pressure. It reminded me of how high-stakes environments—whether in games or real life—can sharpen our thinking and resilience.
Has anyone else experienced this? What games (even casual ones) have taught you something unexpectedly useful, either mentally or emotionally?
